RM15mil for Ked-Air Medan flight venture


KED-AIR Sdn Bhd, slated to operate direct Alor Star-Medan flights on Jan 20 under a two-year agreement with Indonesia's Merpati Nusantara Airlines, expects to invest RM10mil to RM15mil in the venture over the next two years. 

Of the investment sum, “a lot” would go towards advertising, Ked-Air chairman Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah said on Sunday after the signing that was witnessed by Kedah Economic Planning Unit director Datuk Mohamed Farouk Che Ibrahim.
