First Senheng megastore opens
SENHENG Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd launched yesterday the first of its chain of new concept megastores, SenQ Digital Station, in South City Plaza near Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
According to Senheng managing director Lim Kim Heng, the megastore allows shoppers to feel, touch and test a wide range of latest high-tech products in a spacious, comfortable environment.
Senheng is investing RM25mil to open 10 SenQ Digital Station outlets throughout Malaysia within three years.
Lim said the second megastore would open in Johor Baru in the middle of next month and third in IOI Mall in Puchong, Selangor.
The average floor space of a SenQ station is 20,000 sq ft, which is about 10 times the size of existing Senheng outlets. It offers innovative services like Internet and games room and special effect corners dedicated to specific categories and brands. The stations are modelled after similar ones overseas.
Among the main attractions in conjunction with its grand opening, the megastore is offering half price promotion of certain products, as well as a mega auction with bidding prices starting at RM1.
Shoppers are also offered up to 30 months zero interest instalments for certain electrical products.
