THE Malaysian Edible Oil Manu- facturers Association (Meoma) will work closely with the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) regarding the issue of arsenic content in palm kernel expeller cake set by the European Union (EU) committee.
MEOMA president James Goh said that effective Aug 1, 2003, any exports of the palm kernel cake to EU countries with more than 2mg/kg of arsenic content would be rejected.
