Nora Danish is enjoying a new chapter as a businesswoman, but she hasn’t left acting behind.
After two divorces, the actress and entrepreneur says she’s focused on building a successful life as a businesswoman and single mother—while remaining open to love and a return to acting.
The 44-year-old actress showcased her beauty brand, House of 247, at KL International Beauty Week (KLIBW) 2026, held at the Mid Valley Exhibition & Convention Centre from 9 to 11 October. The brand has earned a growing following in Malaysia.

Despite having gone through two divorces, Nora says she has not let those experiences stop her from pursuing success or being a devoted single mother.
“Of course, every woman hopes to have a partner who is dedicated and loyal to the relationship. But things happen, and we have to carry on with our lives and do what is best for everyone,” she said. “I’ll never close the door on love. Only fate can close that chapter.”
Known for her role in the Polis Evo franchise, Nora said she is currently enjoying life as an entrepreneur. But her passion for acting remains.
“Acting has always been in my blood. I can never say no to a good script,” she said. “I took a two-year break because I wanted to concentrate on business. But the latest script is very interesting, and I’m excited to be involved in a TV project again.”
Nora will soon appear in TV3’s Perempuan Sesudah Lafaz, directed by Nizam Zakaria and featuring Yusuf Bahrin, Riena Diana, Puteri Aishah, Syazwan Zulkifli and Muhsin Nadzli.

A bigger stage for beauty
Meanwhile, the KLIBW 2026 brought local and international brands, creators and consumers together for three days of product discovery, demonstrations and interactive experiences. This year’s edition marked the event’s evolution into a BeautyCon, with an expanded programme designed to connect brands and audiences both in person and online.
Datuk Shaharuddin Abu Sohot, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, officiated the event. Tourism Malaysia, an official partner, highlighted opportunities to connect the country’s beauty businesses with its tourism and lifestyle sectors.
The launch drew celebrities and brand founders, including Nadia Brian of NAP Perfume, Chacha Maembong of The Toxic Lab, Mimi Erdina of Cyoung, Atikah Suhaime of Zaitun, Ezzanie Jasny of Ezee, Farra Inalis of SheSlay, and Aprena Manrose and Liyana Jafry of BlushIn.
Visitors explored brands across skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness and personal care. The popular Beauty Passport returned, inviting attendees to collect booth stamps and samples before redeeming a complimentary beauty goodie bag.
Games, challenges and claw-machine activities added a playful element, while a creator-focused live booth hosted Q&As, founder conversations and makeup demonstrations.

The Beauty Stage featured product launches and showcases. Emax Corporate presented B+ Clinic’s new ION+GLOW™ Bio-Renewal Facial Treatment, joined by brand ambassador Taanusiya and KOLs. Mary Kay showcased its K-Beauty Texture Edit and TimeWise® range, including the TimeWise® 3D Foundation and its AI Foundation Finder. BLANCO Fragrance hosted a showcase for fragrance enthusiasts, while the KLIBW 2026 Makeup Competition, sponsored by SILKYGIRL, celebrated makeup artistry.
Founded in 2019, KL International Beauty Week has grown into a platform for consumers, creators, brands and industry players to connect through beauty and community. Organisers say the event will return in 2027.
