Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur will mark its 35th anniversary with “35 Years, One Legendary Night,” a celebration of music and local rock history on November 9. The event begins at 9pm and features performances by Wings, Kristal, and Muzza & The Velvettones.
Since opening in 1991, the venue has become a familiar fixture in Kuala Lumpur’s music and entertainment scene. The anniversary celebration honours the musicians and fans who have helped shape its legacy.
Wings will headline the night with a set of popular songs. Kristal, known for its fast-rock sound, will also take the stage. The band’s current lineup comprises Ewal on vocals, Rody on guitar, Kechiq on bass, and Acap on drums.
Muzza—singer, songwriter, composer and guitarist—will perform as well. He is known for “Bara Jiwa,” the original soundtrack song from Blood Brothers: Bara Naga.
A highlight of the celebration will be the presentation of Datuk Awie’s memorabilia for inclusion in Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur’s collection, recognising his contribution to Malaysia’s music industry.
“Thirty-five years represent more than just time; they represent a legacy of music, memories and generations that have grown up with us,” said Ranjit Singh, general manager of Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur. “We are very proud to celebrate how far this journey has brought us and the journey that will continue.”
To mark the occasion, Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur has also released a limited-edition T-shirt in collaboration with Wings. Only 500 pieces are available, priced at RM198 each, through the Rock Shop®.
Tickets cost RM219 and include one soft drink. Entry is limited to ticket holders aged 18 and above. Tickets are available through Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur and the Wings fan club, Sayap-Sayap Wings.
The Rock Shop is open daily from 11:30am to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
