BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Some 47 officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance and departments under it who retired in 2025 were honoured during a retirement appreciation ceremony at the Theatre Hall of the Ministry of Finance Building on Saturday (Oct 3).
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming remarks from Chairperson of the ceremony Permanent Secretary (Fiscal) at the Ministry of Finance Asrul Adrain Ahmad.
The programme proceeded with Minister of Finance II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, the guest of honour, presenting the retirement mementoes to the retirees.
The ceremony was held to recognise and appreciate the contributions and services rendered by the retirees during their tenure with the Ministry of Finance.
It also aimed to maintain ties and foster a sense of family and camaraderie between retired and serving officers and staff of the ministry. The retirement appreciation ceremony was organised by the Human Resource Development and Corporate Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance.
Deputy Minister of Finance Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Zety Sufina Sani was also present. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
