Japan Coast Guard rescues eight divers who went missing off Tokyo island

TOKYO; Eight divers who went missing off Hachijojima Island, Tokyo, were found and rescue operations are underway after their boat captain called the Japan Coast Guard on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Japan Coast Guard Shimoda Office, the captain made an emergency call at around 1:50 p.m., reporting that none of the eight divers had resurfaced. A search operation involving the JCG located all eight individuals. - Japan Now/ANN
