TOKYO: The bright mid-autumn moon passes behind Tokyo Skytree.
Celebrations of the full moon are generally held on the 15th day of the eighth month according to Japan’s traditional lunisolar calendar.
Although clouds covered the sky after sunset on Friday (Sept 25), the moon appeared through a gap to the delight of those who were near the tower in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, enjoying the tsukimi moon-viewing season. - The Yomiuri Shimbun
