Malaysian fans asked for more, and pop legends Westlife have heard them.
Following an incredible response to the first Kuala Lumpur show, iconic pop band Westlife is giving Malaysian fans a bigger reason to celebrate their 25th anniversary, with a second show added to their highly anticipated Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour.
Presented by Live Nation Malaysia and PR Worldwide, the newly added show will take place on 13 January 2027 (Wednesday) at Unifi Arena, one day before the previously announced show on 14 January 2027 (Thursday).
The two-night Kuala Lumpur stop will kick off the band’s South-East Asia tour, bringing their celebrated catalogue of pop anthems and ballads to Malaysian audiences. The regional leg will continue through Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong throughout January 2027.
The additional Kuala Lumpur date follows a run of sold-out shows across Europe, as Westlife's 25th anniversary celebrations continue to grow in demand.
Malaysian fans are set to welcome the new year with 2 nights filled with big hits, soaring harmonies, timeless ballads and all the moments that have made Westlife one of the world’s most beloved pop groups. The tour marks 25 years since Westlife began their remarkable journey, with the band continuing to captivate audiences across generations.
The addition of a second Kuala Lumpur date is a testament to the enduring love for Westlife in Malaysia. After 25 years, the connection between the band and their fans remains as strong as ever, proving that some songs, some memories and some bands never go out of style.
The celebration comes at an especially exciting time for Westlife, who recently released their highly anticipated album, 25 - The Ultimate Collection, on May 8, celebrating their record-breaking 25-year journey at the very top of global pop. The landmark release features their latest tracks, “Your Love Amazes Me” and “Chariot”, alongside 21 of the band’s most beloved songs, including “You Raise Me Up", “Uptown Girl”, and “Flying Without Wings".
