PUERTO PRINCESA CITY: A golden retriever is among the passengers missing after a fire broke out aboard the ferry MV June Aster in the waters off Coron town, Palawan, on Wednesday (Sept 9) evening.
In a Facebook post, Nics Ramos is appealing for his dog 'Ali' to be included in the search and rescue operations.
“I hope our Ali will be rescued, as he is one of the passengers of the burnt ferry. Please include him in the rescue, and even if he is not returned to us, just as long as he is safe. Please, our baby is good, and he always goes with people,” Ramos said.
“I could not reach those who were with him in the boat; that’s why we don’t have any update. Jerick is the one with him in the boat. Please, I hope our Ali is rescued,” he added.
