In conjunction with the 69th National Day celebration, the Kelab Di-Raja Sungei Ujong (Royal Club of Sungei Ujong) Seremban, organised a Merdeka Hi-Tea on Monday (August 31, 2026), in a lively, friendly atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit.
The programme, which brings together club members, guests, and club staff, not only provides a platform to enjoy afternoon tea but also strengthens bonds of friendship among members from various backgrounds.

The organisation of the Merdeka Hi-Tea carries the theme "United We Stand, Divided We Fall," which symbolises the importance of unity, harmony, and a spirit of togetherness in building a peaceful and prosperous nation.

According to the Chairperson of the Security and Public Relations Committee of the Royal Club of Sungei Ujong, Kavitha Supramaniam, programmes like this are very important in uniting club members and fostering closer relationships regardless of race and background.
"Independence is not just about remembering history, but about valuing peace, unity, and our relationships with one another." United we stand, divided we fall. This is the spirit we want to instil through this Hi-Tea Merdeka.

He also expressed his appreciation to the management, the committee members, the staff, and all the members who have provided support and cooperation in making the program a success.
The Merdeka Hi-Tea celebration at the Royal Club of Sungei Ujong is hoped to continue being a platform to strengthen the spirit of Malaysia MADANI, unity, and harmony, as well as to create beautiful memories with the club members.
