Foreign woman detained over alleged immoral activities in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Personnel of the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) at the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) recently detained a 33-year-old foreign woman for allegedly being involved in immoral activities in a hotel in Kampong Pengkalan Gadong.

According to the RBPF, following the raid, the suspect with items seized as evidence, was brought to the JSJ for investigation and further action.

The case is being investigated under Section 294A of the Penal Code, Chapter 22.

Similar operations will continue to be conducted from time to time to ensure that accommodation premises are not misused for activities that contravene the law, while safeguarding public order and the well-being of the community. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
