For more than three decades, Exists has not only produced popular songs that grace the airwaves. They have gone through various phases in the music industry, from the peak of popularity, changes in times and industry challenges, until they continue to stand on stage and maintain their place in the history of local and Nusantara music.
With various ups and downs, twists and turns, scenes changing and histories being made, 35 years are evidently not enough to tell everything about Exists in just one night.
After creating nostalgia through Exists Memento Mori on August 1, which was attended by thousands of fans, the legendary group is now opening the next chapter with Exists Memento Mori 2.0.
Exists Memento Mori 2.0 was inspired not just because it received a warm welcome, but rather because the organisers, Icon Entertainment, along with the seven warriors of Exists, namely Ajai, Ujang, Along, Mamat, Shah, Musa, and Ezad, felt that a journey of 35 years and beyond is too long to be summed up in one night.
And after reaching an agreement following the 'fever' and many fans who couldn't 'move on' sharing sweet memories and expressions after watching Memento Mori, version 2.0 is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2026 (Sunday), at 8:30pm at Unifi Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

In fact, Memento Mori 2.0 is not just a repetition of previous performances, but rather a continuation of the journey and musical history of a band that has produced hundreds of works, spanning various eras and generations of listeners.
"35 years is not enough for one night. Be it from the renditions of songs in Exists' albums or hearing the complaints and good memories expressed on various social media platforms by fans who have been witnesses.
"Memento Mori 2.0 will also actually be an opportunity for fans who could not attend the first edition on August 1."
"And of course, Memento Mori 2.0 is not a repeat; it will not be done just for profit but based on the 35-year history of Exists, which is indeed not enough to be told in just one night," said Iman Tang, the Founder of Icon Entertainment.
Iman is even optimistic that Memento 2.0 will attract fans to buy tickets again or feel compelled to buy tickets, filling the entire Unifi Arena this time.
"We believe people buy tickets not just because Exists has been around for 35 years, but because they want to hear songs that have stories in their lives live. Memento Mori 2.0 offers a different experience from the first edition, with more hit songs being performed.
"That is what makes us confident that the fans who have already come will want to return and those who missed it will not want to repeat the same mistake," said Tang.

As for Exists, the band that was born in Johor Bahru when all the members were still in school and navigating their teenage years, they concluded that Memento Mori 2.0 must be presented for one reason.
"35 years is too long to be told in one night. Memento Mori 2.0 is here because there are still many untold stories of Exists," said Along on behalf of Exists.
Therefore, Memento Mori 2.0 becomes a space to remember, celebrate, and continue the legacy of Exists.
"With vocal strength, music, and over three decades of experience, Exists is set to return, bringing a performance experience close to their identity, while giving a new breath to a journey that began 35 years ago," Along added.
"Believe me, there are still many songs. There are still many stories. There are still many memories and journeys of Exists that are apparently not yet finished and will be completed at the meeting in Memento Mori 2.0 on November 8, 2026.
"More interestingly, it's not just the concept with a catalogue of hit songs that will fill Memento 2.0, but the theme set by the organisers for all the fans who come will also make the concert night more meaningful.
"Fans attending are asked to dress in colourful, neon, and color-block styles reminiscent of the late 80s and 90s to evoke the glorious era of Exists. Only then will the 35-year energy of Exists move forward together."
