Brunei hosts international AI webinar


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei's Institute of Technical Education (IBTE) hosted an international webinar on Wednesday (Aug 12) aimed at providing a platform for participants to exchange insights, experiences and best practices on transforming technical and vocational education in the digital era.

The webinar was held in response to the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on education, training and the skills needed for the future.

The event carried the theme "Empowering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through AI Literacy and Future-Ready Skills: Current Practices and Emerging Opportunities."

The webinar brought together education experts, TVET practitioners, industry representatives, policymakers and researchers from Brunei and abroad. - Xinhua
