Go Auto Motors Group continues to strengthen its position in the commercial vehicle and mobility industry with an investment of RM1.5 million for the purpose of expanding production facilities, in line with the increase in demand towards commercial vehicles and mobility solutions.
According to the Founder & Executive Director of Go Auto, Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, the expansion of the facility is expected to increase the existing production capacity to up to 500 units per month, thereby enabling the company to meet market demand more efficiently and support future operational growth.
He said that the expansion plan is also aimed at generating an order book value of RM50 million, in addition to creating around 100 new job opportunities in the fields of production, technical, operations, and related support.
"This investment reflects the company's commitment to continue developing the capacity, local production and meeting the increasingly growing needs of customers. The expansion of this facility is part of our ongoing efforts to increase capacity, efficiency, and production capability.
"We see great potential in the commercial vehicle segment, including electric-powered vehicles, and want to ensure we have sufficient capacity to
support market demand," he said in a statement.
Earlier, witnessing the donation of two buggy units by entrepreneurs under the guidance of the Millionaire Entrepreneur Mentor, who is also the Executive Chairman of Richworks Group Holdings, Datuk Wira Dr Azizan Osman, for the use of thousands of visitors who attend the knowledge sessions held every week.
The handover was delivered by the founder of Momentum Iyziq, Mohd Najib Asaddok, and Datuk Wira Ilaiaraja Sagadewan, together with his wife, Datin Wira Sumitra from Nuetra and also the founder of Akademi Ilmi, Ustaz Wadi Anuar, witnessed by Wan Ahmad.
He added that, in addition to the domestic market, Go Auto also has activities and market potential for exports to ASEAN and the United States (US) with a targeted annual export value amounting to RM20 million.
"This development further strengthens Go Auto's aspiration to become one of the key players in the commercial vehicle and mobility sector, with an emphasis on quality, technology, operational efficiency, and transportation solutions that meet customer needs.
"Through the increase in production capacity and market expansion, we remain committed to supporting the growth of the mobility industry and creating more economic opportunities and jobs through the development of a local automotive ecosystem," he explained.
In the same development, Wan Ahmad said, Go Auto is also open to collaborating with local entrepreneurs in corporate social responsibility activities that are carried out every year.
"What is even more special, the donated buggy is a model that was developed by GVT Sdn Bhd for the export market to the United States, thus proving that internationally recognised local products are also capable of being utilised for the welfare of the community. This contribution reflects the company's philosophy that the success of an organisation is not only measured by business growth, but also by the benefits that are capable of being returned to the community," he said.
