SINGAPORE: A 48-year-old man was taken to hospital unconscious after a fight broke out in Yishun on the night of July 24, with police now seeking the other people involved.
Police said they were alerted to a fight at Block 243 Yishun Ring Road at about 8pm.
When officers arrived, they found the man injured at a carpark near the block. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said one person was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Chinese-language newspaper Shin Min Daily News reported that blood was seen on the ground near a parking space, with debris scattered around the area.
According to the newspaper, the attackers were part of a group of five to six people who left the scene before police arrived.
Witnesses reportedly saw multiple people assaulting the man, who was lying on the road and bleeding from his face, Shin Min reported.
An employee at a nearby convenience store told the newspaper that a police officer had asked whether she had seen a man with blond hair pass by the store.
