Water disruption in Brunei affects Berakas, Lambak areas


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Public Works Department (JKR) under the Ministry of Development has informed the public of water supply disruptions and low water pressure affecting several areas.

The affected areas include Berakas Camp, STKRJ Lambak Kiri, Kampong Lambak Kiri, parts of Jalan Pasir Berakas, Jalan Utama Berakas, Jalan Terunjing Baru, Lambak Kanan Industrial Area and surrounding areas.

In a statement on July 1, JKR said it is currently carrying out investigation works to identify the cause of the disruption.

The department expressed regret over the unexpected incident and apologised for the inconvenience caused to affected residents.

In the meantime, residents in the affected areas may obtain water supplies from the blue water tanks located at the STKRJ Lambak Kiri Mosque.

JKR also urged the public to use water sparingly and responsibly during this period.
