YANGON: Myanmar's agricultural exhibition, Agri-Tech Myanmar 2026, kicked off at the Yangon Convention Centre on Friday (June 26).

The expo features 54 exhibitors from the agriculture and livestock sector, 47 from the food processing sector, 80 from micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and two from the finance sector, Zarni, an event organiser, told Xinhua.

This year's expo provides a platform for businesspeople to access information, explore new products and technologies, and connect with suppliers and potential business partners, he said.

He added that visitor numbers on the opening morning were about three times higher than at the previous edition of the expo.

The three-day event, running from Friday to Sunday, also hosts discussions on agricultural and livestock development, edible bird's nest farming and production, and food processing. - Xinhua
