Hitmaker and rising songstress Nadeera Zaini returns with emotional new single 'Cuba Jadi Aku'

After creating an extraordinary phenomenon with her hit single "Bukan Lagi Kita", which surpassed 100 million streams across all digital platforms, dominated local music charts, and elevated her career to new heights in Malaysia's entertainment industry, Nadeera now returns with a brand-new release that is expected to leave another lasting impression on listeners.

Titled "Cuba Jadi Aku", the latest single released by Rocketfuel Entertainment is an emotionally charged work that embraces honesty and courage in expressing feelings that are often left unspoken. Showcasing a more mature and fearless side of Nadeera, the song explores the emotional wounds left behind by someone who was once deeply loved.

Blending contemporary pop ballad melodies with modern rock elements and dramatic musical arrangements, "Cuba Jadi Aku" takes listeners on the emotional journey of a woman forced to endure the pain caused by the person she trusted the most.

Beyond its soul-stirring melody, "Cuba Jadi Aku" carries a message about disappointment, betrayal, and emotional pain that those responsible often fail to understand and about finding the strength to rise above it all.

The song tells the story of someone who gave their whole heart and complete trust to another person, only to be left carrying the scars of that relationship.

All they wish for is for the other person to truly understand and experience the pain they have endured. This message is captured in the song's powerful chorus: "Cuba kau, Cuba jadi aku. Sedarkan kau yang mula semua dahulu?"

These words reflect a question that often lingers in the minds of those who have been hurt: Can someone ever truly understand the impact of their actions on another person's life?

Following the success of numerous hit songs they have created together, Hael Husaini and Iqie Hugh once again showcase their songwriting magic through "Cuba Jadi Aku."

What makes this release even more special is Nadeera's involvement as one of the song's composers, allowing her to bring a more personal perspective and emotional depth to the track.

According to Nadeera, "Cuba Jadi Aku" is one of the most personal songs she has ever recorded because of its honest message and its relatability to so many people's experiences.

“The first time I heard this song, I immediately felt the strength of its emotions. I believe many people have been in situations where they were deeply hurt but found it difficult to express what they were truly feeling.

“Sometimes, all we hope for is that the person who hurt us genuinely understands what we've been through. That's the heart of this song. I'm incredibly excited to share Cuba Jadi Aku with all my fans, and I hope it touches the hearts of everyone who has gone through similar experiences."

Completing the song's narrative, the official music video for "Cuba Jadi Aku" stars Bella Dowanna, Azri Safix, and Ariana in a love story tested by the arrival of a third party. Ariana's character catalyzes the conflict, intensifying both the emotional impact and the message conveyed by the song.

Rocketfuel Entertainment's Head, Mathan Rajasingam, expressed his pride in Nadeera's artistic growth, highlighting how she continues to evolve with every release.

"From the very beginning, we saw tremendous potential in Nadeera. She has an exceptional ability to deliver emotions through her voice with sincerity and impact. The success of Bukan Lagi Kita proved her strength as an artist, and we believe Cuba Jadi Aku will showcase an even more mature side of her, both vocally and as a storyteller.

We are also incredibly proud of her growing achievements, including the opportunity to represent Malaysia on various international stages. She is not only representing Rocketfuel Entertainment but also carrying the nation's name with pride. We believe Cuba Jadi Aku has all the ingredients to become another song that resonates deeply with the public and continues the remarkable momentum Nadeera has built throughout her career."
