Visit Brunei Year to be held in 2027


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei plans to hold Visit Brunei Year 2027 to further boost the development of its tourism sector and promote economic diversification, according to local media reports on Wednesday (June 24).

The pre-launch ceremony of Visit Brunei Year 2027 was held recently at Jerudong Park Garden near the capital, attended by Prince Abdul Mateen, Brunei's minister of foreign affairs.

A key highlight was the unveiling of the official Visit Brunei Year 2027 logo and mascots "Awang" and "Dayang", marking the commencement of promotional efforts leading up to the national tourism campaign across domestic and international platforms.

Abdul Manaf Metussin, coordinating minister for economic policies and minister of economy, trade and industry, highlighted the significance of Visit Brunei Year 2027 as a whole-of-nation initiative aimed at strengthening the tourism sector, supporting economic diversification and showcasing Brunei's unique identity to the world.
