Massive blaze destroys factory in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A massive fire destroyed a factory, including the heavy machinery manufacturing area at Industrial Park Ban 6, Jalan Mulaut. No injuries were reported.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, an emergency call was received at 9.18am on Sunday (May 10).

A total of 26 firefighters, with five fire engines from Jerudong Fire Station, Pengkalan Batu Fire Station, Bandar Seri Begawan Fire Station and Beribi Fire Station, were mobilised to combat the fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a huge fire engulfing the factory. The fire was brought under control in around 20 minutes.
