Fight fest in KL - Indonesia top-class combat sports festival, Byon Combat Showbiz 7, begins at PWTC on Saturday (April 25)

Leading Indonesian combat sports platform, BYON, continues to expand its regional footprint by bringing its flagship event, the COMBAT SHOWBIZ 7, to Malaysia for the first time through a strategic partnership with Kharisma Music International.

The event is scheduled for 25 April 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, targeting an audience of over 3,000 spectators. This marks BYON’s international debut following its phenomenal success in Indonesia, while further strengthening Vidio’s position as the go-to streaming

platform for combat sports in the region.

As a 360-degree combat sports platform, BYON is committed to empowering young talent and developing the regional combat sports ecosystem. The BYON COMBAT SHOWBIZ series is the brand’s flagship event, combining world-class matches across disciplines such as boxing and kickstriking with large-scale entertainment productions.

Previous editions have delivered remarkable performance, including more than 536,000 PPV purchases on Vidio, alongside hundreds of millions of digital views, demonstrating the brand’s strong appeal among modern combat sports fans.

The seventh edition will feature elite fighters from Malaysia and Indonesia, including several high-intensity matches and contests for prestigious titles such as the ICB International Belt and the Byon Kickstriking Asia Title.

The main highlight is the highly anticipated rematch between Putra Abdullah and Ronal Siahaan, whose previous encounter ended in a draw after five rounds before being halted due to injury. This rematch will determine the first-ever Byon Kickstriking Asia Title, making it the centerpiece of the event.

Other key matchups include:

* Fahri Alamsyah vs Kabilan Jelevan – This high-profile rematch comes amid an intensifying rivalry. Fahri previously defeated Kabilan, but Kabilan bounced back with a dominant victory in his next match and is now challenging Fahri again. The rematch is expected to be even more intense, with both fighters bringing their own momentum into the ring.

* Nidal Mahmoud vs Adam Maulana – This match will decide the ICB International Belt, with Nidal defending his title. Adam enters as a challenger on a personal mission to claim the belt, creating a showdown between the experience of a champion and the drive of a contender.

* Ammarul Shafiq vs Haris Sofyan – Malaysian IFMA champion Ammarul faces Haris from Indonesia in a high-intensity match. Ammarul is known

for his devastating headkicks, while Haris has a reputation for early-round KOs, promising a fast-paced and aggressive bout.

* Winona Karamoy vs Emmabel Cassandra – In the women’s division, undefeated Indonesian boxer Winona takes on experienced Malaysian Muay Thai athlete Emmabel. This match is expected to showcase contrasting styles and techniques in the ring.

True to its “showbiz” identity, BYON COMBAT SHOWBIZ 7 offers more than in-ring action. Spectators can anticipate an immersive entertainment experience, featuring international-standard visual production and interactive fan engagements.

Leading up to the event, fans can look forward to the official press conference, face-off sessions, weigh-ins, and a variety of promotional activities to amplify excitement.

According to  Ahmad Jeffny Kamal, the CEO of Kharisma Music: “We are honored to collaborate with BYON to bring BYON COMBAT SHOWBIZ 7 to Malaysia. This is more than just a combat sports event; it’s an international-level entertainment experience that will showcase the next evolution of the sport to local fans.”

“With Malaysia’s growing community of combat sports enthusiasts, this event will serve as a vital platform to connect regional athletes and further establish Malaysia as a global sports destination.”

BYON’s entry into the Malaysian market not only expands the brand internationally but could also give a boost to the local combat sports industry.

With high-level fights, world-class production, and modern entertainment, BYON COMBAT SHOWBIZ 7 is set to be one of the most anticipated combat sports events of the year.
