Singtel down for thousands of users, Downdetector shows


SINGAPORE: Some Singtel customers experienced a service outage on the morning of March 16.

As at 10.51am, there were more than 5,200 reports of network outage for Singtel users, data from Downdetector showed. Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.

At 11.12am, Singtel in a Facebook post said some customers may be experiencing issues with their mobile services.

Customers should turn off their devices and turn them back on again to restore mobile services, said Singtel.

Singtel said: “Our engineers are investigating, and we will provide updates as soon as they become available.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused.” - The Straits Times/ANN
