Mandopop “Melody Factory” Xiao Bing Chih set to ignite Zepp KL with debut solo concert “Alive” on July 4

Widely recognized as the Mandopop scene’s premier “hit-making machine” and hailed by Mayday’s Ashin as a relentless “Melody Factory,” powerhouse singer-songwriter Xiao Bing Chih officially announces his first-ever solo headlining concert in Malaysia. The “Alive” Live Tour will descend upon Zepp Kuala Lumpur on July 4 (Saturday) at 7pm.

From billion-stream anthems to his latest soul-stirring creations, Xiao promises an electrifying performance that transcends a typical concert—delivering an unforgettable night of music that resonates straight from the heart.

Since his debut as the lead vocalist of the phenomenal band Magic Power, Xiao Bing Chih has carved a unique niche in the industry with his distinctive song-writing and commanding stage presence. His versatile discography spans rock, ballads, and electronic dance music, producing a string of era-defining hits.

His billion-stream anthem “I’m Still Loving You”, along with fan favorites such as “Addiction,” “Marksman,” “Who Am I,” “Missing You,” and “Love Hurts,” have solidified his reputation as a premier hitmaker.

Xiao’s artistic range is further showcased through his powerful duet “Dear Stranger” with Mayday and the emotionally resonant drama theme “I'm So Into You.” His 2025 single “520” dominated major music charts, while his recent win as “Hit FM Listeners’ Favourite Singer-Songwriter” at the 2025 HITO Popular Music Awards underscores his massive popularity and critical acclaim.

The “Alive” tour has already swept through major cities including Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Nanjing, igniting a powerful wave of musical energy. The Kaohsiung gig marked a significant milestone, with 10,000 tickets snapped up instantly, further solidifying the tour’s momentum across the region.

The concert’s creative vision centres on “Light,” symbolizing resilience, growth, and hope. Inspired by his personal journey through life’s challenges, Xiao reflects: “Being alive itself is already something remarkable.” The tour aims to broadcast this positive energy, encouraging fans to face adversity with courage and rediscover their strength through the transformative power of music.

Fans at Zepp Kuala Lumpur will experience an intimate and high-octane environment. The show features reimagined arrangements of classic hits performed with a full live band, complemented by a meticulously designed lighting pulse and stage visuals designed to amplify every emotional beat. This performance promises a deeply engaging atmosphere where artist and audience resonate as one.
