Urgent pipe repairs cause water disruptions in Brunei


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Public Works Department under the Ministry of Development Thursday (Mar 5) announced that urgent transmission pipe repair works are being carried out at KM107.8 Muara-Tutong Highway, which may cause water disruption or low water pressure in several areas of the Brunei-Muara District.

Affected areas include part of Kampong Lambak Kanan, the Defence Academy RBAF, part of Kampong Tanah Jambu, Kampong Salambigar, Kampong Meragang and its surrounding areas. The repair works have been ongoing since yesterday.

Affected residents can collect water from blue tanks located in the RPN Kampong Meragang areas, specifically at Simpang 32 Jalan Binglu, RPN Kampong Meragang Recreational Park, RPN Kampong Meragang Mosque and Simpang 70 Jalan Kamangsi.
