PUTRAJAYA: In line with its commitment to culinary innovation and enhanced guest experiences, Ombak Kitchen has unveiled its new Western-inspired seafood menu, alongside the introduction of its Ramadan Preview 2026, at a special event held at Ombak Kitchen, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
The launch marks a new phase for Ombak Kitchen, emphasising premium-quality fresh seafood, prepared with bolder, richer Western flavours.
Among the key highlights of the new menu is the Seafood Boil served with Ombak’s Signature Cajun Sauce, complemented by an expanded range of à la carte dishes, a wider lobster selection, and the introduction of the “Build Your Own Bucket” concept, which allows diners to curate their own personalised seafood combinations.
Departing from its previous focus on set seafood combos, the new menu offers greater flexibility and customisation, including the introduction of new fish selections, a dedicated kids’ menu with a Kids Eat for Free initiative, and dishes suited for both casual dining and special celebrations.
Despite the evolution in concept, Ombak Kitchen remains true to its identity as a family-friendly restaurant with premium preparation standards.

Alongside the new menu launch, Ombak Kitchen also unveiled its Ramadan Preview 2026, themed “Tradisi Berbuka, Nikmat Semeja” (A Celebration of Tradition, Shared at One Table). Throughout Ramadan, from 19 February to 19 March 2026, diners can enjoy three specially curated buka puasa sets: LEKIR (RM89), JEBAT (RM109), and TUAH (RM129).
Each set features premium offerings such as Signature Seafood Boil, Singapore Chilli Live Crab, Signature Roasted Lamb, and Canadian Lobster Thermidor, along with free-flow oysters, appetiser buffet, dessert selections, and beverages.
The launch event was officiated byDatuk Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications, and attended by Sharita Loo, CEO of Ombak Kitchen. The celebration featured a creative unveiling gimmick with Ombak Kitchen’s Signature Rainbow Dessert, symbolising renewal and celebration, before reaching its highlight as Head Chef Izwan officially presented the new menu.
With the combined introduction of its new menu and exclusive Ramadan offerings, Ombak Kitchen continues to strengthen its position as a preferred seafood dining destination, delivering quality, freedom of choice, and meaningful dining experiences.
