China executes 11 linked to Myanmar scam compounds: state media

BEIJING: China on Thursday (Jan 29) executed 11 people linked to Myanmar criminal gangs, including "key members" involved in telecom scam compounds, state media reported.

"The executions were carried out by a court in Wenzhou city in east China's Zhejiang Province, after receiving the approval of the Supreme People's Court," state news agency Xinhua said. - AFP
