Market festival held in Yangon to mark Myanmar's 78th Independence Day

YANGON (Xinhua): A micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) market festival, together with music performances, was held in Yangon on Friday to mark Myanmar's 78th Independence Day, the state-owned daily Myanma Alinn reported on Saturday.

At the opening ceremony, Yangon Region Minister for Economic Affairs U Myo Myint Aung said that industrial and MSME product exhibitions have been organized 17 times in Yangon from 2022 to 2025, the report said.

He noted that these events have strengthened cooperation and business linkages among states and regions.

The event encourages producers and sellers to develop quality products suitable for export and promotes the growth of domestic MSME businesses, the report added. -- Xinhua
