Road accidents kill 782 in Laos in 11 months

VIENTIANE: A total of 5,740 traffic accidents were recorded across Laos from January to November, resulting in 782 deaths and 8,873 serious injuries.

The main causes of the accidents were speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Lao Ministry of Public Security on Monday (Dec 29).
