Malaysian singer-actress Shazia impresses with new release “Itoshi-Hito”, an emotional Japanese love song

Singer and actress Shazia Rozaini has released her latest Japanese song titled Itoshi-Hito, meaning 'I miss you', created by famous composer and comedian Pakya Senario.

The song tells the story of a Malay girl's hidden feelings for a man in Japan, which have never been expressed and continue to play in her mind.

According to Shazia, Itoshi-Hito is full of romantic meaning, also depicts the beauty of the culture and atmosphere in Japan, and is a medium to express her longing for the world of singing that brought her into the art industry.

"I'm very thankful to be given a chance with this song. And I also like to thank top composer Pakya (Senario) for selecting me to sing this wonderful song for Malaysian music fans," said Shazia.

Previously, Shazia had released several singles of her songs that have won many fans in the country. She is also an active and well-known actress, having starred in various dramas and telemovies produced by TV3, Astro, and RTM. Shazia also worked with top actress Nabila Huda in the recent musical theater show "Masmoona".

Meanwhile, Pakya Senario said that the inspiration for the song was born from the influence of Japanese music from the 1970s, which she felt suited the tastes of Malay listeners.

He described Shazia as a talent with great potential and Itoshi-Hito as an important step in developing the singer's musical journey.

With a blend of sentimental melodies, Japanese cultural elements, and subtle storytelling, Itoshi-Hito promises an emotional experience that touches the feeling of longing.

This song is published and distributed digitally by Luncai Emas, and can be heard on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes, while the music video is shown on Luncai Emas' YouTube channel.
