Brunei and Hungary sign MoU to boost bilateral cooperation

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: At the sidelines of the State Visit of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah to Hungary, the Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Consultations was signed between the government of the Sultan and the government of Hungary.

Signing on behalf of Brunei was Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohd Yusof, while the Government of Hungary was represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to institutionalise bilateral consultations and to exchanges of views on issues of mutual interest to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the pursuit of common goals.

Also present were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Liew Abdullah, and senior officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
