Brunei-Pakistan defence ties strengthened with visit

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday (Nov 5) received an official visit from General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Pakistan Armed Forces, who is currently on an official visit to the country from November 3 to November 6, 2025.

Upon arrival at Bolkiah Garrison, he was welcomed by Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Datuk Paduka Seri Muhammad Haszaimi Bol Hassan, and was accorded a General Salute followed by an inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces.
