Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah receives Singapore PM Lawrence Wong

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah on Monday (Nov 3) welcomed Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong who is in the country to attend the 11th Young Leaders’ Programme (YLP) between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore, from Nov 3-4.

The audience ceremony took place at Cheradi Ratna Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman where members of the royal family were also present.

The Sultan and Prime Minister discussed matters of mutual interest to further enhance the existing bilateral relations and welcomed the exploration of new areas of cooperation.

In this regard, both leaders affirmed their commitment to uphold the longstanding and special and unique relations between the two countries through, among others, currency interchangeability, defence and people to people exchanges.
