SINGAPORE: A woman was sentenced on Monday (Oct 27) to a one-year probation for making a police report falsely accusing a man of rape, after he refused to give her S$1,200 following their sexual encounter.

Claris Ling Min Rui, 20, must remain indoors from 10pm to 6am every day, and perform 60 hours of community service as part of her sentence.
