Bruneian man remanded for further investigation over wife's death

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A 33-year-old man was brought before the Magistrate's Court on Tuesday (Sept 30) to face a holding charge of murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, Chapter 22.

The defendant, Captain Muhammad Hanis Awang Masri, was charged with causing the death of his 23-year-old wife, a Filipina, through strangulation.
