Myanmar citizens granted 14-Day visa-free entry to Malaysia

YANGON: The Malaysian Embassy in Yangon has announced that, starting October 1, Myanmar passport holders will be exempt from visa requirements for short-term social visits to Malaysia of up to 14 days.

The embassy emphasized, however, that entry into Malaysia remains subject to approval by immigration officers at designated points of entry and exit. It also noted that visa exemption does not automatically guarantee admission into the country. - Eleven Media/ANN
