One of South-East Asia's top road festivals - Karnival Jom Heboh returns and has landed in Kuching


KUCHING: The people of Bumi Kenyalang are geared up for Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH) Segulai Sejalai Sarawak is set to return at Dataran Perayaan Petra Jaya, Kuching, from Friday (Sept 5), promising a weekend filled with exciting entertainment, exclusive offers, and family-friendly activities that celebrate the spirit of togetherness and diversity of Sarawak.

KJH Segulai Sejalai Sarawak is set to bring an exciting line-up featuring the two-night Jom Heboh Concert, family-friendly activities such as karaoke competitions, stage games, and meet-and-greet sessions with popular TV3 drama cast members and Media Prima personalities.

Adding to the excitement, a strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) will give visitors the chance to connect more closely with key agencies under its purview, including the Sarawak Museum Department, Sarawak Tourism Board, Sarawak Arts Council, BeSarawak, Sarawak Craft Council, as well as the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak.

Each of these agencies will host exclusive activities specially curated to deliver a memorable experience for visitors at KJH Segulai Sejalai Sarawak 2025.

Studio Tonton Drama Sangat will be filled with Media Prima personalities such as Mior Abdul Malik, Naz Habibur Rahman, Farah Nabilah Wazer, Fatin Hamimah, Asri Badrun, Fadzly Fuad, Barr Zaizan, and Syamira Nazir, along with the chance to meet your favourite drama cast members, including Wanie Ooi, Mark Adam, Ezzanie Jasny, Apich Lo, Jazmy Jum, and Marsha Milan.

Adding to the excitement are highlights such as the Drama Sangat Ethnic Queen Contest (Sunday, 7 September – open to female contestants aged 18 to 35), the Jaguh Kartun Contest, and a special appearance by the beloved Ejen Ali mascot. Visitors can join the excitement as early as 9.00 am with healthy activities, including a fun Zumba session with KKM and Street Soccer. The evening continues with a night of blessings through the Sembang Santai programme in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul on Friday, 5 September 2025, at 9.00 pm at the Jom Heboh main stage.

This casual yet meaningful session will feature light-hearted sharing on inspiring stories, noble values, and lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It also offers a warm and welcoming space for people of all ages to come together, reflect, and engage in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Experience an unforgettable night of music with top Malaysian performers at the Konsert Jom Heboh Segulai Sejalai Sarawak, proudly presented by U Mobile as the main sponsor!
