VIENTIANE: Construction of a modern, 300-bed state-owned hospital officially began in Vientiane on Tuesday (Sept 2), aiming to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare services.
The six-storey facility, overseen by the Ministry of Public Security, is being financed through a US$65-million loan from Korea’s Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and will take two and a half years to build.
