Three camps of Thai politics set stage for formation of new government

BANGKOK: Thailand’s political landscape is once again entering a dramatic turning point under a “three kingdoms” scenario, after the Constitutional Court ruled that Paetongtarn Shinawatra must step down as prime minister.

The House of Representatives is now set to convene on Wednesday (Sept 3) to elect a new prime minister.
