With young bright guns helming series, the much-anticipated C-drama 'The Wanted Detective' makes its way to iQIYI on Friday (Aug 1)

The original historical detective drama "The Wanted Detective," produced by iQIYI, has officially set its premiere date for August 1 (Friday).

The compelling narrative follows Xiao Beiming (Wang Xingyue), renowned as the greatest detective in the kingdom of Daqi, who is falsely accused of being the sinister demon "Ye Sha."

Resolute in clearing his reputation, Xiao partners with his resourceful junior disciple Zhong Xueman (Xiang Hanzhi) and a group of courageous allies to solve seven interconnected, mysterious cases.

Their quest aims to uncover the true identity of "Ye Sha" and restore peace to the kingdom.

Directed by Zhao Jintao, "The Wanted Detective" stars rising young talents Wang Xingyue and Xiang Hanzhi in leading roles, alongside Chen Youwei and Zhang Nan, with special guest star He Luoluo and specially invited actor Deng Kai.

The drama's key attraction lies in its cleverly constructed mysteries, each case intricately woven into the next.

About Wang Xingyue
