Mishap at sea - at least three dead in cruise ship accident in North Vietnam


HANOI (Xinhua): At least three people have been confirmed dead and 10 others rescued after a cruise ship capsized in Ha Long Bay, northern Vietnam's Quang Ninh province, on Saturday afternoon, due to strong wind and rough sea, Vietnam News Agency reported.

The ship was carrying 53 people, including 48 tourists and five crew members, at the time of the accident, according to the local newspaper Tuoi Tre (Youth).
