VIENTIANE: The Lao Women's Union is hosting an exhibition marking its 70th founding anniversary, honoring the union's legacy and celebrating the cultural traditions of Lao women from all ethnic groups.

An official opening ceremony was held on Thursday (July 10), featuring a variety of activities, including lectures, seminars, cultural performances, and ethnic costume parades by young participants.

Blood donation drives and free eye examinations with expert consultations are also offered to support local communities, according to the Lao People's Army News.

The exhibition, being held in Vientiane from Monday to Sunday, also showcases over 2,000 products created by female entrepreneurs and traders, including handicrafts and food items.
