He places 10th globally in the field of Law and Legal Studies, ranks first in Asia and stands as the highest-ranked academic across all disciplines in Brunei Darussalam.

The ranking is based on the h-index, a metric that reflects both the productivity and impact of a scholar’s published work.

With an academic career spanning India, Tanzania, Malaysia, Singapore, and more than 15 years of dedicated service in Brunei, Professor Ahmad has established himself as a globally recognised authority in legal education and research.
