Paetongtarn: Thailand rejects ICJ authority, urges issue containment

BANGKOK: Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra reaffirmed Thailand’s rejection of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) authority, stressing the need for bilateral mechanisms with Cambodia.

According to her Facebook post on Thursday (June 5), Paetongtarn stated that in response to the Cambodian government's statement on the Thai-Cambodian border situation, she had consulted with the Foreign Minister and the Foreign Ministry’s Permanent Secretary.
