Fire damages multiple vehicles in Brunei, no injuries reported

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A vehicle was destroyed and three others damaged in a fire at the parking area along Jalan Ong Sum Ping on Wednesday (May 28).

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), an emergency call was received at 12.19pm.

Two fire engines from Bandar Seri Begawan Fire Station and Beribi Fire Station were dispatched to the scene.

Firefighters upon arrival found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to three nearby vehicles.

Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, brought the blaze under control using a jet hose.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
