Brunei police seek public assistance in fatal jogger accident

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has confirmed a fatal road accident involving a jogger on Tuesday (May 13) night near Jalan Balingkawang, Lumut housing area in the Belait District.

According to the RBPF, a report was received at 8pm, and the incident claimed the life of a 40-year-old local man.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.

The police are urging members of the public with any information to come forward and assist in the investigation by contacting the nearest police station.

The RBPF also reminded motorists to remain vigilant and exercise caution while driving, particularly in residential areas and near recreational parks often used by joggers and pedestrians.
