BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Young barista Fikry will represent Brunei Darussalam at the PCA Brewers Championship Global Finals to be held in Sanya, China tomorrow.

Fikry earned the opportunity after being crowned Champion in the Manual Brewing Category at the PCA Sarawak Regional Competition earlier this year.

His victory marks an achievement for Brunei’s coffee community, placing local talent among top brewers from around the world.

The competition will be held during the M1 International Specialty Coffee Week, one of Asia’s largest specialty coffee festivals.

The event will feature the GCEF International Coffee Forum, industry-leading technology showcases, the PCA Global Awards, and more – providing a platform where coffee innovators, roasters and baristas from across the globe gather to celebrate the craft. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
