Thai defence minister pledges measures to resolve southern unrest, thanks Malaysia for help

BANGKOK: Measures to resolve unrest in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces are expected to be finalised following the Defence Minister’s visit on April 26–27.

Phumtham Wechayachai (pic) made the statement after discussions between Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim.
