Myanmar earns four medals at Sepak Takraw World Cup


YANGON: Myanmar secured one gold, two silvers and one bronze medal at the 2025 ISTAF Sepak Takraw World Cup, according to the Myanmar Sepak Takraw Federation.

Myanmar participated in five events, claiming one gold in the women's double event, two silvers in the men's double event and mixed quadrant event, and one bronze in the men's quadrant event, Min Min Htike, executive of the federation told Xinhua on Tuesday (March 25).

The competition, which took place in India's Bihar state from March 20 to 25, was a valuable learning experience for Myanmar's preparations ahead of the 33rd SEA Games in December in Bangkok, he added. - Xinhua
