Royal Brunei Armed Forces donates to 312 children with disabilities

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a donation presentation ceremony at An-Naura Hall at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan to support 312 children of RBAF personnel with disabilities in conjunction with Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah.

The ceremony began with the recitations of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah, Zikir Munajat, Asmaa Ul-Husna, Selawat Syifa and Doa Selamat, led by Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib Japar.

Commander of the RBAF Major General Datuk Paduka Muhammad Haszaimi Bol Hassan and his spouse, President of the RBAF Wives Welfare Association (BAKTI) Datin Ummisyafinah Zaini jointly handed over the donations.

RBAF Executive Committee and senior officers with their spouses distributed contributions to their units. The event continued with iftar, followed by mass Maghrib prayer.

The donations were sourced from the RBAF Welfare Fund, collections from RBAF suraus, and contributions from RBAF BAKTI. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
